Elementary School Curriculum

Erie First Christian Academy’s elementary program offers a wonderful foundational start to a child's educational and spiritual growth. In addition to providing a solid academic curriculum in all core content subjects, Erie First Christian Academy offers a well-rounded school program through enrichment classes in fine arts, performing arts, and foreign language. Spanish is offered weekly beginning in second grade. Our physical education begins as developmental in kindergarten through second grade, and in third through fifth grade expands to focus on teamwork, sportsmanship, and games skills for later competitive sports. The elementary science and tech labs allow students to explore and solidify their experience and skills in science and technology. A variety of field trips is offered per grade to enhance classroom learning.

Through the nurturing of our dedicated and professional educators, as well as a close partnership with our families, Erie First Christian Academy is a place where children grow academically and spiritually and blossom into all that God created them to be.

The core subjects of the elementary curriculum include language arts which strongly emphasizes comprehension, math, social studies, science, and Bible. The students are also instructed in art, music (vocal and instrumental), computer, and physical education.
