High School Curriculum

EFCA secondary offers a curriculum rooted in a God-centered view of life. This view holds that God’s Word is the standard for all truth. The high school curriculum, taught by a qualified secondary Christian faculty, allows parents to provide the students with academic instruction consistent with the Christ-centered teaching received at home and at church.

*This equals to one credit for each year the pupil is in Erie First Christian Academy.  A student transferring in may have less bible credits upon graduation.

The work completed by the beginning of each school year determines the student’s classification.  The following classifications are based on a student having attended EFCA for each of his/her high school years.

Freshman Less than six credits
Sophomore Six or more credits
Junior Twelve or more credits
Senior Seventeen or more credits

Art: music, choir, band, home economics, Communications
Humanities: French, Spanish, Drama/Speech, Philosophy
Electives: Computer, School Service, Financial Peace™*, College Planner, SAT Prep
